I have the pleasure of being your hostess this week. I hope you are liking my bright colors! I'm going with my own personal theme this month - perhaps you have figured it out.
This card is a TSOL "Fold-It" - a shaped card that is folded at the side or top. You then cut an extra and adhere that to the front so you don't see the fold. I hope that makes sense.
The Duke in my card is for Duke Kahanamoku who popularized surfing. There is also a restaurant named for him in Waikiki (and now a whole chain of restaurants).
I've listed a lot of stamps and colors you don't see here. They are on the inside of the card which I will post separately.

I'm taking a wild guess here and saying this month's theme is Hawaii/tropical/beach. I love this little surfer dude, all ready for some wave action. That sign is adorable--as if he needed to e shown the way to the sea!

This is such a fun card! It reminds me of my friend who LOVES to surf. The coloring is amazing - especially the hair. I just had to jump over to your blog to get more deets. Love it!

Very fun slimline design, Jeanne! You've used the colors so Beautifully and his swim trunks are Adorable! Love the flowers on his surfboard. A really cute card for someone to open up and enjoy! I could tell last week this theme had something to do with Hawaii~
