I inherited this sweet image of giraffes awhile back, but this is the first time I've used it. I stamped them on the light brown panel and used an X-acto knife to cut around the one giraffe's head. Traced an outline map of Africa on giraffe markings DSP and glued it behind the giraffe, popping his head on a tiny foam mount. Sponged the edges and added some crumb cake splatter to the lower edge. The end of this braided ribbon was already frayed, and I thought it could represent both textiles and the giraffe's tail. I hope to go on a photo safari to Africa someday!

Great card. I absolutely love the little detail that you cut around a giraffe's head and neck so you could slide the map under it. The braided ribbon is a wonderful textural addition.
