I made this for our monthly Teapot Party card exchange with one another.
My card was creating by remembering my Grandma's beautiful summer garden full of flowers and the beautiful teacups she collected. I posted a photo of her gold polka dot teapot for this challenge.
I cut out my teacup with my Cricut Joy and dsp with flowers and golden highlights. I added gold edging to my teacup. The script and lines look white in the photo, but they are gold in real life. I took about a dozen photos but couldn't capture the gold of the background. Much prettier irl.
I layered my background dsp on burgundy and gold and used 3D pop dots to attach my teacup, adding the gold ribbon at the bottom.

The gold adds such a defining element to this pretty card.

That gold-edged teacup is stunning. The card looks very cool with the teacup using a similar pattern but smaller than the background paper. I'd love to see it in person.
