I have now lived in California longer than I lived in NYC, but I will always be a New Yorker through and through! I used the colors of the NYC flag, Navy, White and Orange along with Mint Macaron, which is pretty close to the green patina of the Statue of Liberty. I sponged some gold ink on the statue to add a burnished look. Stacked the statue three deep and popped up on foam mounts. The white panel was run through a script EF; for some reason, it doesn't do a good imprint on one side, so I tried running it through twice, turning it, but that proved too much and snapped it. Oh well! I thought this could serve as a kudos card for a girlfriend, or even for the 4th of July! Go, Lady Liberty!

I love your New York card. I also love NY! (Not the dreaded Yankees, of course, but the rest!) Liberty looks fab!

I devoured my trip to NY, inhaled every second of it! Lady Liberty looks great with the burnishing. The skyline too is iconic. I love your card so much.

Great die cuts! I hear ya on the ef...sometimes it's not enough, sometimes it's too much. NYC is such a fun place to visit....so much to do, very exciting.

Ms. Liberty touches all of our hearts as Americans, but how really special she is to you having shared living alongside of her. Love that you used that mint for such a true match to the color of the statue. Great card.

Wonderful card. I didn't know you were originally NYC! The colour of Lady Liberty looks just perfect to me. I've seen her small sister in Paris, and I presume that size apart, they are similar.
