I've been reminiscing about my earliest memories which of course come with me being with Grandma. We would pick wild flowers. She knew their names, and one day we came upon this pretty flower but she would not let me near it. The Prickly Pear. I didn't get a lot of firsts with my grandchildren but I did have the honor of being with my grand daughter when she saw her first llama.. so this card is about having and being a grandma.

Lots of memories all wrapped up in one card. Neighbour of mine has a huge prickly pear cactus growing just over the fence. Don't know where he got it from - but it is noxious weed here!

LOL, I like your story about the prickly pear - she was certainly right not to let you near it. This card made me smile because my grandmother had a lot of cacti and succulents in her conservatory. In fact my aunt still has one! It's probably taller than me now. The llama goes really well with it. This is a sweet card.
