This is for Barbara's Color Challenge. She selected a terrific color combo: Real Red, Pacific Point and White. The dessert option is Patriotic.
Every year for the 4th of July, I use this special edition stamp at least once. It is over 20 years old and still stamps reasonably well. I colored with markers directly on the stamp to get the blue and red in the right places. Then, I layered the flag image on Pacific Point and then onto a white card base. I thought the stamped stars & wavy lines went nicely with the wavy flag. I used Wink of Stella glitter on the stars and accented with a red bow.
I cannot wait to see all the ideas and cards with this combo. TFL

What a great annual tradition, Diane. Kind of like me watching "1776" every year! I love this wonderful stamp, full of patriotism and love. I like the wavy star lines across the bottom, too. Great card!

Ah, this stamp is such a sweet trip down memory lane. I bet each time you take it out your design is just as fresh and patriotic as this one. Wonderful card!
