I started smiling when I saw the first card in this week's Featured Stamper, Maggie (aka mschoener), Gallery and it continued all the way through. Beautiful coloring along with bright happy images and colors. So fun to wander through and I landed here: Teapot Beauty by mschoener at Splitcoaststampers
Her bouquet of daisies reminded me of this ADFD stamp that I have been eager to use. I kept her flowers in a container; similar colors but I added the gray; and similar layout with a tag layer. Her flowers are white in a yellow container while mine are yellow in a white container.
I wanted to try to create my own "wallpaper" for the tag, so I cropped the ADFD digital stamp to use just the blooms. I used the recolor feature in Word to make them light gray and a few of them in yellow. Of course, I didn't notice I had the panel upside down til I had already cut the tail. I hope that just adds to the charm. Colored and layered the sunflowers. Added black stickles to the flower centers. It's very subtle even IRL, but it does add some texture and depth. I left off a sentiment for now. Not sure whether I will add one later or not.
Congratulations Maggie on being selected this week's Featured Stamper. Your coloring is stellar and I found much in your Gallery to inspire. I hope you enjoy all the cards you will be inspiring this week. And I hope everyone is having a "charming" day -- translated to mean I hope your stamping boo-boos work out for you too. LOL. TFL

A lovely design inspired by Maggie's card - beautiful yellow blooms with their dark centers against the white - and pretty stamping on your background panel!

Debbie, this is a fantastic case of Maggie's card. I love your beautiful flowers and the wonderful background layers. I especially love the touch of color you added to the tag images.
