I thought of a bunch of songs about summer for this challenge, but went with the one my DH came up with, Summer Breeze by Seals & Croft (think we just dated ourselves...). I embossed the sky panel and stamped some Balmy Blue on the ocean panel before tearing and mounting. Stamped the sails with a one-off print to look weathered and added the sentiment and die cut seagulls. I deliberately positioned the sail and gull to go onto the matte, which I think adds depth.

So beautiful! I am loving the look of the water stamp and the sailboat! The torn paper looks fabulous too. You created a wonderful summer card inspired by a summer song!

I love the feel of this blue and white sailing card, so serene. The torn edges are perfect and you chose a fun embossing folder for the sky portion of the card. I have fond memories of that song the summer it came out. My DH and I were in our early twenties living in a little house across the street from a park. That song was always playing that summer!
