My card for Shawn is based on the fact that I inherited a full roll of Karate ribbon about 7 years ago. Thanks to the teapot challenges even the strangest things can come out of the stash box for an inspired card. I searched online and found this guy in a Karate pose, colored with Arteza markers and fussy cut. The stance made me think he could be kicking cancer so I inked up my cracked Ice EF then ran it through the Big Shot to get both color & texture that looks like an explosion. I hand wrote cancer being blasted apart, framed with black stripes and my cool never before used Karate ribbon.
Inside says: You mastered the move - now give it some attitude!

Linda this is the BEST! That image is amazing and I love the saying. He'll love this. And the ribbon...perfect...ya never know when you're going to need something (that's why so many of us have huge stashes of this and that!)

Love the imagery and sentiment of this card. That explosion bg is so interesting and perfect for the message. And "karate" ribbon -- who knew -- but weren't you lucky to have it in your stash. That's why it is so hard to get rid of ANYTHING...you just never know when it's going to be the exact thing you need on a card. Great card.

Wow, Linda! You sure did a fantastic job making a card for Shawn! You had the perfect image and I love the way cancer is being kicked right out of the picture! Outstanding.

This is amazing. Perfect image and ribbon but I especially love the cracked ice embossing folder. I would never have thought to use that here. Brilliant.
