I donât make too many baby cards so I only have a few stamps. I thought it was a good opportunity to pull out the Nice &Narrow set I got from Ebay a couple of years ago and hadnât used! Then I got the idea of using the rectangle for the tilted rectangle from an old sketch Iâve been stuck on as I work through the earliest sketch challenges (#9) and the rest of the card went from there.
I stamped the images and sentiment in Memories Black ink and colored the images with markers. I cut them out with a trimmer and then cut pieces of light green paper from an old Colorbok 8x8 pad to back them, leaving a narrow border. I picked another piece from the pad and layered it onto the base card, then glued the two image pieces to the front. Inside I glued a computer generated sentiment: âA little bird told me thereâs a baby arriving soon!â The card will go to my cousinâs daughter whose baby shower is coming up.
Iâm feeling just meh about this card but my wife declared it adorable so I guess Iâll stick with it.
USEIT2022: very old papers and stamps including a long retired Stampin Up set. Also used a very old SCS card sketch!

I love that you used old stamps, old papers, and an old sketch for this fun baby card. I have also been going through all the old sketches and using them. I swear I must have done this one, but I don’t see it in the gallery. I don’t think I was very good with the keywords when I did the early ones.
