Love the whole idea of this week's WCW challenge presented by Stacy.
The ideas are to play with your watercolor brushes, colors, and marks. Something fun and relaxing.
I did mine in my Journal Bible. To be honest, I just opened up the Bible and this is the page it opened to and I went with it. If I stretch, I can say that Job's loyalty freed him, or that when God restored him, he felt free.
We could probably go in 50 different directions with this. It is freeing to think that suffering will end one day - one day soon or eventually and God has it all under control and it is all part of His plan - one we can't understand always but that isn't our job. Job modeled an understanding of that that few can remotely get close to (me included, of course). The song Where were You by Ghostship underscores this.
This is also for the **Art*Journal*Journey* Play it Again Challenge (inspired by favorite song or movie).

Thanks for starting my morning with these beautiful thoughts. You took the challenge and made a most gracious piece. Love the fun butterflies you created as the artist in the video demonstrated. Happy you joined us and shared this, Nancy. Fav'd

I love that they are all individuals ( pattern wise) Nancy, I struggled with coming up with different marks to add to the wings. Love the color choices here too
Your butterflies are beautiful! I like the colors and patterns. The music is beautiful! Job is so good for putting things into perspective. It certainly helped give me a sense of peace when I struggled to understand the past.

I had never heard that song, wow that is something. It's hard to see what God has in store and how it is for good but that is where the faith comes in. Love your sweet butterflies!
