I love the Ghosting technique but rarely see it used.
I stamped the Unity butterfly with versamark randomly onto glossy cardstock (this will become the ghosted image) This must be set aside to dry completely so it doesn't smudge during step 2. Once dry, I brayered rainbow ink diagonally over the piece until completely covered then buffed with a tissue. Next I patted the entire panel with Amari Magic (anti static) then stamped The music also with versamark but embossed with SU gold glory EP. Added the sentiment which was embossed with clear powder. I tied the side of the panel with teal threads and finished with heart stickers and a metallic butterfly.

Delightful card! Your ghosting technique adds such beautiful depth! Your gold embossed music images are lovely .... but I most especially love the uplifting sentiment you chose!

this is gorgeous. I will have to look into the ghosting technique: it is absolutely stunning. The colors really pop out, especially the gold embossing.

I'm not sure if I've ever done this technique....you're inspiring me Linda. Even though this is a flat card I'm loving the depth that ghosting brings to this. Fab!

Fabulous. That unity stamp is gorgeous and makes a beautiful bg. I know you brayer your colors randomly onto the card stock, but it looks like you have placed them perfectly for depth and color. Love love love the addition of the gold musical notations. And that sentiment is perfect for this card and for this occasion. Anyone would love to receive this delight, but I think a card maker like Tricia will really appreciate all the elements you added here. Just wonderful!

I like this technique too, but no matter how long the drying time, I have had mixed results with it. I think it's one of those things when there's quite a variation between different brands of glossy. But it does give such a lovely soft look. And those little heart stickers -they are just so sweet.
