One by one I hope to get a card made for each letter of the current Alpha Challenge. Gave up on doing it in order. M = Many Tulips.
The current Free-For-All challenge is "Renewal - Old to New". Several of these tulip images were stamped and sent to me by a fellow SCSer (dlsplu) about 12 years ago. My how time flies. I have hoarded these images and every so often pull one out to make a card. The dragonflies, dies and cardstock also fall into the 'I've had this forever, time to use it up' category. In a recent overhaul in my Rubber Room I came across a tin of gel pens that I was sure would be dried up and useless so I was pleasantly surprised that they actually worked! Lots of old things to make a new card for my Mom for Easter.
The Inspiration Challenge this week took us to a fun Pinterest board called "The Postman's Knocks" and it was this image that reminded me of these precious tulip images that I had stashed away.
My Mom suffers with Parkinson's Disease Dementia but her passion for flowers hasn't waned. I think she'll love this sparkly Easter bouquet. Unfortunately the camera didn't capture the glittery sparkle of the gel pens.
Thanks for stopping by. Must get the house tidied - the kids and grands all arrive this afternoon - first Easter celebration together in three years! Hallelujah!

Your beautifully colored tulips look fabulous framed with this lacy die cut. I love your pretty metallic butterflies in the corners. Very elegant, classy Easter card, Heather. Your mom will love it!

A great card, and it's always a plus when it can fit thee criteria of so many challenges. Tulips in the spring are always one of the first signs of spring for me.
