I've had this stamp since long before Thomas Kinkade passed away. Today I put ink to it for the first time; the recipient is only allowed 'one layer' cards, no embellishments.
To make this card:
1) Brayer grey Versafine ink onto the rubber then stamped the image onto the front of the card. (Used Versafine as it won't bleed when waterbased inks are applied).
2) Mask off the edges of the image to maintain a clean crisp border on the cardfront.
3) Use Altenew's smallest detail blending brush to apply colors. Use assorted green waterbased markers for the trees and ivy. Go over the cross with a fine tipped black marker. (I used colors used in the wood stamp's image).
4) To bring out the "rays": use finest detail blender brush and VERY lightly drag white craft ink across the sky.
