For the bg I use a "text" embossing folder. I pulled out this odie but goodie SU stamp from 2001 and used black embossing powder so her silhouette would stand out.

Long hand texting is still my favorite way to communicate. I adore silhouettes and this is so lovely on this gorgeous embossed textured background and a great color combo too.

Thanks for exploring the history of texting with your card..LOL. I do prefer the letter writing variety of communications, too. That silhouette is lovely....reminds me of Jane Austen. And the embossed script is perfect to go with it.

Beautiful card! I love the texture in the embossed background and that vintage image has always appealed to me. I still love receiving a hand-written note; just received one today from my aunt!

Your card is beautiful, Barb....and so elegant and lady-like. The bg embossing has a rich depth and the silhouette is so charming. Beautifully done.....as always.
