It has been a little while since I played in the Featured Stamper challenge and I needed another card using this adorable House Mouse image off I went to browse the Featured Stamper's gallery. Congratulations to Gayle, you have a lovely gallery, great choice Ardyth! I had a hard time choosing between a couple of your cards and my DD2 chose this one: CLASSIC CAR BIRTHDAY FOR GUY by fostergaylej at Splitcoaststampers
I kept the layout essentially but used different images, colors, and embossing folders. I also wanted to keep the bulk down for mailing so my green panel and my focal image panel have Night of Navy borders inked directly on them creating the look of faux layers. After inking the Granny Apple Green panel, I embossed it with the Boho Chic ef and the Night of Navy panel got the Delicate Designs border ef.
I stamped my focal image and colored it with Prismacolor pencils and added a faux Night of Navy layer on it as well after die cutting the rectangle.
To finish the card, I found a thinking of you sentiment that would fit in a small circle, stamped it and punched it out. I punched a scalloped circle from Night of Navy to mat it with and popped the sentiment up with foam tape.
Congratulations, Gayle, and enjoy your week! Thanks for the challenge and thanks for looking!

Well you had me at this gorgeous Granny Apple/Night of Navy combo, but completely captivated me with that adorable and fabulously colored HM stamp. What a wonderful card to send to someone recovering especially from an injury. Wow, you did an awesome job inking in those borders. I had to go back and check it out because I did think they were layers. Great use of Gayle's layout to create this adorable card.

I have loved House Mouse stamps for years - almost surprising given my total freak out tendencies towards the real thing. Wonderful card - what a fun colour combo!

Cute case. The image is so sweet. The bright green and blue look good together. Great ideas on how to reduce the bulk. You are so creative! The side fold looks nice, too. Terrific card!
