My son does not see SCS, so even though I am a month early, I can still post his birthday card. One of the things that gives me so much pleasure is watching the backyard birds through my garden window. I wanted to give some of this joy to my younger son for his birthday. Although his window is a figment of my imagination, unlike the real thing, he can enjoy the scene night or day, rain or shine. TFL, Francie

Gosh, wouldn't it be amazing to see birds like that out our windows. They are reminding me of the illustrations in the Andrew Lang colour series of fairy stories. I love that you created a window scene to display them. The little photo corners are a tiny detail that add so much.

Francie this is so dynamic and immediately I thought of how long since I used zentangle on a project. This is fabulous, wonderfully colored and I am sure he loved it!
