Here is the inspiration for my card: Sunburned Tilda by KristineB at Splitcoaststampers
I kept my card vertical, used a sun and used ribbon down the sides instead of across.
Instead of dry embossing, I sponged clouds in the sky. Instead of using two different papers on my image panel, I used two different colors on my image panel. Instead of using dots, I used the plaid paper and made my image panel a rectangle instead of a square. I used a green base instead of a blue card base.

Sue, this is a great case of Kristine's card. I love the cheerful yellow and white checks and your ribbon layers on both sides of the scene. The whimsical bear and sun are so sweet.

What a wonderful case with your precious birthday bear, Sue! Your colors are so cheerful and that stitched ribbon is perfection - and the sunny smile made me smile too!

Adorable CASE of the inspiration card. Love that sweet bear and his sunny message as well as that great stenciled sky and that very happy sun. This card is it's own "ray of sunshine" from the colors, to the images, to the sentiment. It just makes me happy. TFS.
