The video was excellent to learn painting trees. I used Arches watercolour paper and the paint were Windsor Newton.
After watching the video using green painters tape I followed the steps from the video to do the trees. My changes were I used the torn side of the tape for the outsides of the tree as trees. I didn't want the trees to be to straight. I use a brush to make the darker lines on the outside of the trees. Added the background colour before taking off the tape to work on the tree colours. Enjoy

Oh, what a great tip about using the torn tape for the edges of your trees! Your forest is gorgeous and I just love your owl! This is a gorgeous scene!
