I did the panel last night, second attempt. I used Couleur d'Art pencils on watercolour paper. I should have waited till I have more time at the end of the week to finish it off, as all that pencil colouring was quite time consuming. However - I stamped a square sentiment stamp on it, edged with black, drew two lines for the bird and added him. I was lucky to find a piece of DOX wrinkle free distress on glossy photo paper in a similar colour palette, so I embossed that with the music-themed ef, swiped over it with dark blue and popped the focal panel up on it.
It made me think of the chapter in The Phantom Tollbooth where Chroma the conductor is bringing the day to life and conducting the sunrise and colours into being from the dark night.

I enjoy cards that have a musical theme. Your colors are so bright and beautiful. Great job with swiping the ink pad over the embossed panel! I would have been nervous. Love the bird in the corner~

I really like your stamped sentiment over the technique. It turned out great even if it was time consuming (that's why I went with the DO). The embossed bg is a perfect fit to go with it.

This is a great cheery card and I love the musical theme. I am a musician myself but don't have any musical stamps!! Your cards is so whimsical and fun - even for a seemingly hasty creation!

Beautiful with your coloring and choice of colors. The background looks amazing. I always admire a card that a person took time to do. It shows. TFS Fav'd
