This is my Teapot card for this week's challenge, Stitches for Sharon, using stitching of some sort. I went all in with a sewing theme! Sharon likes any kind of cute critters, so I added the bear and cat holding sewing supplies, who have been busy creating a new dress.
I used an embossing folder for the background showing small cross stitches. I stamped the sentiment on top of these ridges, which is a good time to use a stamp positioning tool. This meant that I could stamp multiple times in the exact same place until I felt like the words showed clearly enough over the texture.

I always try to remember to stamp the sentiment first if I plan to emboss. Even with a platform I don't think I'd attempt stamping after, well done.
The dress and dress form are really lovely, and the cute critters with the haberdashery supplies are just adorable.

I like the way that the words stamped over the embossing almost look like they are stitched. Love your dress form and the cute sewing helpers! Great card for Sharon.
