I have been thinking of this technique for it appears almost a month! I guess it takes a lot of thinking before I try something! LOL This Crazy 8 star was perfect for our quilt challenge for the Alpha Q challenge. I added the faux stitching and the enamel dots to the gold flower center for the Mix-ability and Ways to Use it, and the gold metalic for the CAS last week. I used scraps for all of the pieces, and the EF was already embossed in my stash. I am sending this to our teapot recipient this week. Thanks for looking.

Lovely papers - especially the strip along the bottom with the chain of white flowers. And the big gold flower in the centre looks super. especially with the enamel dots.

That is a really cool technique...I'm glad you finally tried it. The gold flower in the middle is striking and makes a statement. Thanks for playing Sharon!

Beautiful! Excellent quilt design. Love this technique/pattern. Love your color scheme/papers used for this project. The BG used with EF is perfect.
