For today's Alphabet Challenge letter Q for quilt. I made a pinwheel quilt card a long time ago and love the look but forgot how to do it! Since today's letter is Q for quilt, I looked it up again.
I am down to just scraps left of a 12x12 paper pad that I have been making cards for Sharing Parents, an organization that supports parents who lose a baby. This is another card for them.
I punched out my eight 1 1/4" squares (four from two different patterns). I cut two squares that measure 2 5/8" and glued them together at an angle, then just put the patterned squares down (be sure to glue only half of the first square so you slide the last square under it). I dug out my brads to find one for the center and then added faux stitching with a white gel pen - which you can't really see on the lighter patterned paper but it is there! The sentiment is cut from the same paper that is the base of the pinwheel quilt.
Thanks for the challenge and thanks for looking!
