I'm so happy to have my friend Karen back with us and she has chosen some beautiful, warm colors: Pale Papaya, Mango Melody and Flirty Flamingo - with any other color for dessert.
I've been thinking about trying to layer these circle cut pieces (all circles are cut at the same time from each piece of paper) since I first cut a bunch of them while trying a friends dies - last summer. Of course I never put the die in exactly the same place so when I stacked them up little crescent moon shapes peek through when you layer them. Luckily, I had packed a few using this week's colors in my stamping travel bag and they looked right at home over a Pale Papaya card base.
I started to get sidetracked when I tried a 3rd layer of a brighter pink to my circles but once I started adding the daisy type flowers I really had to go back to Plan A which was Pear Pizzazz. They really needed the leaves.
We've had a rainy afternoon and I was lucky to find a place to take my photo - it even caught my gold butterflies...
I really hope you will add a little sun to your week and join us with these beautiful, warm colors.
You can find more of my experiments layering these die cuts on this blog post.

Fantastic inspiration with the challenge colors. So happy & cheerful. Love how you layered the Picture This die-cuts. The flowers are beautiful. The butterflies are a nice touch. Great card!

Wonderful card Chris! I love the offset circles; I never would have thought of that but it looks great. And the Pierced Blooms are just the perfect focal points.

Definitely yes on the leaves, Chris! I adore the way your circles "almost" line up, creating the little crescents in the circles, and I love the sweet pierced flowers! Your butterflies did catch the light!

Overachiever, overachiever, can I say overachiever enough? You created this on the go? I'm so impressed! This is such a great idea, I totally love the concept of cutting the die twice and embellished with flowers, I love it Chris!
