My mother's parents came over to US from Scotland, so we had tea often. The main cookies we had (if we had cookies with tea) were Milano cookies from Peppridge Farm or we had Scones from a bakery. Mainly, we just sipped tea at Tea time.
The recipe I have with my card isn't a desert - we didn't have a lot of sugary things due to diets - but a salad that my mother made that is well liked! Broccoli Salad.

The salad recipe sound good. When you say scones I presume you are referring to the proper English type, perfect with tea. They are one of the things I used to bake when I spent Saturday afternoons cookies in the YWCA. I like your coloured embossed background.

The embossed dogwoods make a pretty bg for that Tea time House Mouse. I like your idea of a broccoli salad - in this day and age of health consciousness, I am more likely to grab fresh veggies rather than sweets, too.
