Mary is our hostess for this week's Color Challenge CC884! In my opinion, she has selected some great colors for creating flowers! Her choices this week are So Saffron, Highland Heather, and Pumpkin Pie with the Dessert Option of using Designer Paper.
My design was created around Lyn's Technique Challenge TLC887, as I found it interesting and wanted to give it a try. Mary's dessert challenge presented a bit of challenge as I actually cut out a row of tulips that were the wrong color and reconnected the pieces back together. Can you tell?
That probably was the most difficult thing about designing this card! The So Saffron background was embossed and accented with the tiny square cutouts from the Tulip dies. The tulip and leaves were colored with So Saffron, Pumpkin Pie and Mossy Meadow Stampin' Blends. Thank you for taking a look!
Please join the fun this week with this beautiful color combo, we will be waiting to see your creative take on Mary's colors!

you created a beautiful card with this fun technique- love your bold tulip and the pretty ribbon accent- I chose any designer paper this week so you could have used whatever you cut the first time- I used this same paper

LeAnn, I found that card design intriguing, but in the end I didn't go for it--maybe next week! Your card! I can't believe you colored that incredible tulip! Your skill with Blends just keeps getting better and better. The shading is sensational! What a beautiful card!
