Pat is hosting the TeaPot Challenge. Jean has requested cards of comfort for her Aunt Joyce. Joyce is a quilter and loves the colors of pink and lime green. Using a patterned paper pack featuring those colors, I made a Bargello style quilt panel. I dry embossed the quilt and mounted on a black panel. I stamped a sentiment and popped it up for dimension. Thank you, Shirl, for gifting me with that pretty swirl die. I think the die cut is a fun detail to add to this quilt.
Thank you, Pat, for hosting. Jean, I hope our cards will encourage and comfort your Aunt Joyce.

That flourish swirl die does add a lot of interest and looks awesome over your gorgeous quilt. Love your use of Jean's fave colors and the addition of black is perfect! Beautiful card Rita!

Beautiful quilting. Love the colors and patterns you used and the bargello looks fabulous. As Penny remarked, the embossing makes it look as if it has been quilted. And, I agree that the green filigree is the perfect finishing touch. Fabulous card.
