This is my card for CC883. Chris is our hostess and she chose coastal cabana, bermuda bay and cinnamon cider for her color trio. Dessert option this week is metallic.
I decided to try and make a valentine for my hubby with these colors. I pulled it off by focusing on the bermuda bay color. Now here are some deets of how I made this card.
I just bought this Lawn Fawn stamp & die set because this is so my hubby. He eats cereal every night for a snack, and I think he is pretty awesome.
I stamped and colored the cereal bowl with a coastal cabana stampin' blend. It's an alcohol marker. For the hearts inside the bowl, I used a blender pen and merry merlot (neutral) ink. Then I stamped the little face on the bowl with cinnamon cider ink.
The Valentine phrase is a die from CottageCutz cut in bermuda bay cardstock. To finish off the image panel, I stamped the sentiment and then scattered some merry merlot hearts.
For the dessert option, I used Stampin' Up designer paper from the "silver fancy foil vellum collection". That's my sample for this week. Can't wait to see what you create with these pretty colors.

Awesome Valentine for a guy - or even a teenager. I used to have a bowl of Wheaties almost every night. (And my guys Valentine was done with your color challenge...)

I love a Valentine that doesn't take itself too seriously! Making a card that seems right for a guy is challenge enough. This hits all the right notes and I love it.
