The teapotters are sending cards to Jay (Anne's dh-jdmommy) for his 80th birthday which is on Valentines day. Jen is our hostess and has chosen the theme of Birth-entine's Day so this is what I came up with. Popped up the 80 on dimensionals. Had to fussy cut those numbers and I am not so hot at it. Ran a bit of a gold pen around them.
Also this is for Ann's Alpha G for Glamour challenge, cause I think this looks like a glamorous Valentine's Birthday card or that's my story and I'm sticking to it, as the saying goes, lol....I hope Jay has a wonderful 80th and I hope this gets there soon coming from Canada, but hey it's birthday month for Jay if it is late.

You've created a great birth-entine card for Jay - even using numbers to indicate his 80th birthday! I love that gorgeous striped dsp! I think Jay will love his glamorous gold and red Birthday/Valentine card!

This does look glamorous with all that gold -- but you remembered to keep it masculine with that great dp. Love the numbers and you did great on the fussy cutting I wouldn't have known if you hadn't have said. I'm sure Jay will love this heart-filled card. And you know Anne will love the red. Great card,

This is a fabulous card, Shirl. I really like the diagonal stripes in the background - so elegant with the gold. I think you did a great job with the fussy cutting. Wonderful birth-entine card for Jay! I will have to check out that challenge.
