These two cards are for the January Fan Club Christmas card challenge. In January (it's still January here for another hour or so), the challenge was to browse Stacy's gallery and select a card to CASE. I enjoyed browsing Stacy's gallery and kept coming back to this beauty: Leaves Trio three by Twinshappy at Splitcoaststampers I really liked the layout, such a pretty Father's Day card. I kept the layout mostly and added a snowflake die.
First, I lightly sponged the cs with Tempting Turquoise, Island Indigo, and Gorgeous Grape and then stamped several snowflakes embossing them with clear embossing powder. Then I sponged more of the colors in the same spots deepening the color. Final step was to stamp more snowflakes and heat emboss with white embossing powder.
I cut that panel apart and added to the white panel adding a different assortment of ribbons to each panel and then attaching them to different colors of card bases. I finished both cards with a silver foil snowflake and a preprinted sentiment.
Stacy you have a beautiful gallery, thanks for the inspiration. Thanks for the challenge, Angie, and thanks for looking!

What a gorgeous Christmas card! You've created such beautiful depth in your hand-stamped and embossed patterned paper, Catherine! It's so rich looking and the triple strip technique is lovely!
