I really like paper quilting as a way to use up paper scraps! I got ambitious with this one and attempted a flying geese block. I cut a bunch of squares in two different sizes from Valentine paper scraps, then cut in half diagonally to make triangles. I attached them to a square cut from a double sided adhesive sheet. It ended up being just a little off kilter, probably due to winging it instead of measuring! But itâs fine, I added that glitter sticker to the center as an accent and also,a cover for all the non-meeting pointsâ¦
I finished by attaching the quilt piece to a cardstock square, and attaching to the card base with foam tape. I finished with a strip of washi across the bottom, topped with the sentiment stamped on a scrap of white cardstock.

Perfect papers for a quilt effect! I don’t think this needs it but if you get exposed bits of adhesive sheet from less-than-perfect alignment of elements, a bit of ultra-fine glitter rubbed on can be very useful — stops it being sticky and adds a bit of embellishment that can look like it was always supposed to be there ;-)
