What fun I had looking at CarolineKathy's gallery today! This card really spoke to me as it reminded me of being little at the beach: WT641 Looking at the Atlantic by Carolinakathy at Splitcoaststampers
In my card, the little girl has grown up and returned to her childhood summer home, enjoying a Mimosa on the porch! I stamped the image of the girl on watercolor paper, then masked her and added the coastline. Watercolored the scene and framed it in a beachy wood frame with real shells. Used a woodgrain EF for the blue wall and DSP for wallpaper. Will add a sentiment when I decide who the recipient will be.

Delightful card and a delightful tale. Your young lady looks like she is lost in her memories and I imagine they are the ones of her childhood. Beautiful coloring; great masking; fabulous design; wonderful card. You have me reminiscing now.

Love your story and that she is drinking a mimosa! The image is lovely and your added scene is perfect as is your framing. Very cool case, Faith. Love it! Hugz
