Hoping that towards the end of January and with the cooler days it would be nice to go for a drive in the country. Summer so far has been coolish and very wet - so very much unlike Summer. With all the rain there is a lot of new growth and wildflowers in the country - specially after the long years of drought and fires.
Stamped and embossed the Gumnut family and coloured them in and fussy cut them out. The background is a water colour creation. Stamped the floral display and then glued the little Gumnut family in place. Added some sparkle with gel glitter pens on the flowers.

What a wonderful card, Helen! I love all the details. It reminds me of old cartoons from when I was a child. Great background too. I hope it travels my way this month!

I wondered from the thumb (on my phone, small) if it was going to be the Gumnuts. What a sweet image. I love their little carriage, reminded me a bit of the one my dad made me for a hedgehog, out of a polished coconut shell. My brother and I were always making little carriages and coaches for our toys. The scooter puts them right on trend!! As always, your watercolour background and fairtytale flower garden are beautiful.

Helen, I love the scene you created here! I would love to go on tour with you to view the rebirth of your land. We too, suffer from both drought & fires and it is SO uplifting to see an area come back to life!

OMGoodness - I’ve just received this fabulous card as my tickle! I am speechless - if you think it looks great here, you’d be blown away seeing it IRL. Feeling honoured 🤗
