Just discovered that I can make "walking" ladybugs, too, with the Ladybug Builder Punch!
I trimmed the body portion in half lengthwise, punched two more full sets of wings and stamped the dots on BOTH sides so they would still be visible when I folded them. Then I attached them to the body and to the Pop-up hinge I made.
This was a new pop-up style for me (modeled after a die set I saw from Concord and 9th), but it came together really easily. I made the "hinges" from 6" and 3" strips of Shaded Spruce that I notched at right angles along the center fold (it's pictured in the following image, attached to the inside of the card).
To attach inside the card, peal the backer paper from the Tear & Tape on one side, align the "V" angle against the fold and stick. Then fold the 2nd half of the pop-up hinge over the first, remove the backer paper and close the card onto the adhesive to secure). Then you can add your pop-up elements as desired.
I'll get a lot more use out of this bundle now that I realized I can punch a little bug walking as well as stamping one! Have fun!!
