Perfect challenge to get me to use a new holly stamp!
Stamped and watercoloured, trimmed, and popped up on fun foam on a gold card base.
I chose the sentiment as the card is for my aunt whose son died in the summer. My cousin Chris was born with Downs Syndrome and he lived to the age of 58 - a great age for someone with Downs as, as recently as the 1980s, the average life expectancy was only 25, but now it is close to 60. We are grateful for all those extra years. It will be a hard Christmas for my aunt.

A wonderful card for your Aunt. Lovely image of the holly in nice, serene colors. The sentiment is caring. So sorry for her loss. Your card is a thoughtful gesture.

Ah - as soon as I saw the sentiment and before getting to your write-up, I was thinking it would perfect for exactly the situation you are using it in. Those cards are so hard - one doesn't want to say happy and merry and all those things. Lovely stamp -and colouring.
