Congratulations to our newest Featured Stamper, embee46. I had fun perusing your gallery and several of your cards. It was this Breathe Deep that sparked an idea for casing you! Love these fragment leaves of Tim Holtz. Mine were made from packaging of Kleenex. The print box was beautiful purples and blues. I think I got 9 leaves from one empty box.
I kept the theme of leaves, a vertical layout. I changed my sentiment orientation, stenciled a background and used die cuts.
This card is also going into the Inspiration Challenge from Saturday. Kia is our hostess and took us to Grandin Road. So many lovely items for decorating. Being a real chair admirer, when I saw this Ceclia Embroidered Chair, I decided my leaves were similar enough! Love that little round ottoman as well.
Hope you enjoy your week in the spotlight, embee! And keep growing your gallery...
Thanks for your comments...I'd love to hear what you recycle into your original cards...

Smiling because I have that exact Kleenex box saved to use for die cuts and what can I say - this sentiment speaks to me on every level as that is how I've always tried to live my life!! Love those fragmented leaves especially with the simplicity of the muted stenciled branches on your bookmark.
