I was skeptical of this color combo and almost skipped it but was glad I didn't! I decided to use it to try out my recently acquired Spellbinders kaleidoscope diesâe"I've picked up several different sets on sale but have been intimidated by their fussiness and complexity! It turns out that they are not that complex, just cut the three different shapes and stack and glueâe"but definitely fussy with lots of runs through the Big Shot and care to keep the right dies with the right colors. All the colors are ones I use infrequently so it was fun to dig through my cardstock collection and realize I had at least one sheet matching each!
I decided to use the two greens and the pink for my triangles and cut a total of 6 of each of the three pieces (two ended up on the spare card). I stacked and glued and was very pleased with the look. I cut a strip of the blue cardstock and arranged the triangles on it, cutting one in half with a guillotine style cutter to make the end pieces. Glued them down, and backed with a strip of the deeper bluish green, which I punched with my old faithful Martha Stewart border punch, then glued the whole thing to a white card and stamped the sentiment at the bottom. I added the pink stick-on jewels at the points of the main triangles. This set was marketed as a Christmas set and certainly can be but it will also be suitable for all occasion cards as well. TFL!

This is very cool! I saw these Spellbinders dies but wasn't sure about them. You've changed my mind - this is wonderful. Definitely worth all the complexity and work!
