When I was making this card, I thought the "Let your Heart be Light" sentiment was perfect for the world we find ourselves in presently. I think these days I have to make an intentional choice to LET my heart be light, emphasis on the word LET, and I don't think I am alone in feeling this way. There are so many heavy things going on all around us, and we have to CHOOSE to LET our hearts be light. Otherwise, it's all just too heavy. I have to remind myself on a daily that none of our present world issues take God by surprise. So anyway - if anyone else is feeling the weight of the world, let's all try this holiday season to LET our hearts be light. Happy Tuesday everyone!!

Lovely messages, both on your card and in your write-up! I love the intensity of the Fresh Freesia shades you used. They, along with your beautiful coloring bring on the sense of festivity SO well.

this is one awesome card my friend - I just started decorating my home for my very favorite holiday and my heart did get lighter. Celebrating the birth of our Savior always makes me happy.

That gal has certainly been busy with her holiday shopping and tree decorating! I love the way you used this week's colors, but mostly, thank you for the uplifting writeup. Very inspiring!

Love your read Karen... yes thankfully God is in control even in these days of hardship and strife! Your design is a colorful beauty. I would have never in a million years thought of putting these two stamp sets together, they are perfect for each other! Love it all, Karen!
Karen, Not only is your card beautiful and festive but it is also inspiring. Your comments on how heavy hearted we all feel is good reminder that these things are out of control. It does take a daily reminder to choose to let our hearts be light! Thank you!
I adore your beautiful lady holding all of those beautifully colored package. The Christmas tree is so gorgeous with it's gold trim and colorful jewels! I love that you chose to make a Christmas card with these non traditional colors.

Gorgeous coloring of this pretty and festive card. Love the little bit of mistletoe, and your saying is so perfect for these days.
