The small images I used were punched with a deckled edge square punch from Stampin' Up! (SU) "Penguin Playmates" designer series paper (DSP). There are so many quite little critters that the penguin plays with, it was hard to decide which ones to feature!
Since I used a deckled edge punch, I wanted to two sentiment pieces to also have deckled edges. However, with no punch (I also tried decorative edged scissors, but they were too deep), I turned to my ScanNCut CM350 digital cutting machine and a deckled SVG file from DesignBundles.com. I had to resize the deckled rectangle to 2.56" x 1.25" since it was sized for a slimline card in its original format. I was pretty pleased with how they turned out since they maintain the deckled edges from my punch.
The sentiments were from the retired SU "White Christmas" stamp set that has several cute scenery images along with the two sentiment stamps.
I am rating the difficulty level of this card as a "2" out of a possible "5". The punching was super easy, but the creation of the sentiment panels took longer than the rest of the card combined!
