Jen is the Teapot Challenge hostess and we are sending cards to help celebrate a 100th birthday. I chose to feature an image of a 1950s era fashion model. I hope it brings back some fond memories for the birthday girl.
Mary is hosting the Color Challenge. I had fun stamping my own patterned paper in those pretty challenge colors, Mary.
The main image is clipart, which I die cut and matted with black, and the sentiment is computer generated. The large panel is dry embossed. I stamped the vertical panel and matted it with black. Black gems were added as embellishments.
Thank you, Jen and Mary, for the fun challenges!

fantastic ! Love the elegant lady and her outfit... and yellow is supposed to be the most soothing color. My MIL had a yellow kitchen and everything in it was yellow.. LOL

This card so reminds me of that era with the chic look. I really like the bg paper you created with your stamping. All around great card. The birthday girl will enjoy it. TFS
