Barbara has chosen shaded spruce, cherry cobbler and gold for the color challenge with dessert being a Christmas card.
I used clear blocks to do my freehand stamping and also stamped off to get the lighter shade of shaded spruce. I used the Stampin' Pierce mat underneath the c.s. to do this and it works really well. I heat embossed my greeting, used dazz. diam. on the berries, and watered down distress stain to get the gold splatters using a toothbrush. Here is a link from wonderful Loll which shows various ways to splatter:
.
This is on a white c.s. but it shows cream in the pic and this is prettier irl. I also used a sponge dauber to apply golden glitz to go around the edges of the white and cherry cobbler c.s. Thanks for the challenge Barbara!

So pretty, Shirl. I like how you stamped this including the stamped off bough. I love the addition of the dazzling diamonds on your berries. Beautiful card!
