A few years ago I bought a box of Arteza natural wood slices, already drilled with a hole in the top, and included string for hanging. Finally got them out and started using them!
The photo shows the fronts - one is fully painted with white gesso, the others have a bit of gesso roughly painted around the edges, one has gesso splattered on it at the end.
I die cut various poinsettias, greenery, words, and a dove, in most cases doubling them up to give more substance. The poinsettia petals are shaped a bit with a stylus. Then assembled them with Gina K Connect glue and added a few gemstones.
I cut plain white cs circles for the backs on which I stamped "to / from".

Wow! These are spectacular! I am going to buy some if I ever see them with holes already drilled! Such a beautiful way to decorate a tree or add to a package!
