Combined two challenges MMTPT692 to express our reflection of our collections! My collection of edge scissors, which was one of the first items I bought way back when I first started to make cards! Also my Penny Black stamps - I think I have about 50 of them! LOL
Oxide inks, versamark and finally some metallic rub ons came into my collection!! So fun and so fun to see all the techniques here on SCS!!
MSP50 - what a fun challenge, if you haven't joined in on this please give it a try! It's the 50th challenge and therefore we were to use gold on our cards!!
MISTI to the rescue for double stamping to get enough Versamark on my card to have the gold embossing powder take hold!! Also lined up my stencil in the MISTI.
TFL!

Ann, your card takes me back to my early days of stamping as well -- when edge scissors were the thing and no one did diecutting. I did buy a few edge scissors, but they weren't very good ones and just made me frustrated. You, on the other hand, look to be a master at using edge scissors. Highlighting the scallops with gold is a wonderful touch.

This is beautiful, almost looks like a shadowbox card. Love all the gold edges and that butterfly is lovely over the flowers.
You clearly mastered those edgers - I had probably two dozen different pairs but never turned out anything as lovely as this! Over the years and esp when more dies came out, I started giving my old fancy edge scissors away to newbie stampers who didn’t have dies yet and appreciated the scissors as much as I originally had (I think I’m down to about 6 pairs now). Thanks for the memories, Ann.

I too remember the scissors - was a “must have” back then. Now they are packed in a box - and gathering dust. Good to see that they are still being used to create this pretty card.
