You're all invited to my house for tea. You can use whichever mug you'd like.
What a fun tickle this month. I always enjoy learning about my teapotter friends interests with challenges like this. My card is based on my mug collection. I have a mug from everywhere I've ever been and also mugs from places my friends have been. It all started in middle school and high school when my best friend, Bridget, and I would buy each other mugs each time we went anywhere on vacation. I have a whole cabinet dedicated to my mug collection. My favorite one is the one from South Dakota, although I also really love my Statue of Liberty mug. I knew I had a Mt. Rushmore sticker in my collection, so I dug through my stickers to find some to decorate my mugs. Turns out I only needed this one. It was a big sticker for the top of a scrapbook page that said "United States" and had the trees, Mt. Rushmore, The Gateway Arch (I also have a mug from there), and the Statue of Liberty. They needed a flag tablecloth to rest on (I have one of those too!). I had so much fun making this card and I have a photo of my mug cabinet and my favorite mugs on my blog today: The Stamping Actuary Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge- Thinking of You

This is such a fun card, and what a great mug collection you have. Love that they are travel souvenirs -- that's how I started with the S&Ps, I bought one on a trip just because it was cute (they were pink pigs, and somewhere along the line both got broken). And it went from there.

This is so fun. . . the card and the story behind it. South Dakota was one of my favorite places to visit with a surprisingly large number of things for the whole family to enjoy from little kids to grandparents. Plus the 70 degree weather in the summer was a big bonus!

Your card is perfect for showcasing your love of collecting mugs from all over! I love the way you've made these mugs special and the American flag "tablecloth" ties them all together beautifully!

Super representation of your collection. And how lucky for you to find that sticker that really pulled your paper mugs into reality. The whole patriotic setting really works for this collection.

Brilliant card, Jen. My favourite detail is the bear peeking out over the Statue of Liberty. What a great sticker to create your collection of mugs with.

You had the perfect stickers for your card. And the right size too. I often have the right image but it's not the right size. This card perfectly showcases your collection. Nicely done.
