This card will be going to Ciara, who loves Halloween and needs some cheering up after a horrendous accident. It's also for the Googly Eye challenge, but since I don't have any, I added black gems to the wide eyes of this funny cat instead. I added some silver stars around his head because he is clearly on a sugar high from all that candy he "didn't" eat! Colored the cat and pumpkin with watercolor pencils and sponged the BG in blue and purple. Tried to work in light blue for Ciara, but it didn't work. I left his tail unglued since cat tails seem to have a life of their own, surprising even their owners!

Too funny. Love that dazed, sugar-high look on his face and the addition of the stars really emphasis that fact. Fun layout and the perfect sentiment. Ciara will be laughing at this gem for sure.

That cat is a riot, love how you did the eyes (and they look way better than regular googly eyes) and the look on his face is priceless! Cool stone floor and great layout with the cat leaning against the pumpkin. Ciara will love this!

Love this, the expression on that cat's face speaks volumes, and the gems make a great sub for googlie eyes. The foreground is amazing looking, and I like his tail hanging loose.
We used to have a cat who liked carrots, so whenever he heard someone peeling vegetables in the kitchen, he would come along in the hope that he might get a treat. So strange.
