I learned a lesson from casing this fun card by today's FS, Natalieoshea: You Snailed It by Natalieoshea at Splitcoaststampers
I worked on the card for quite awhile and it kept getting farther from what I loved about her card - the colors and simplicity. Finally, I looked back at her original and scrapped where I was going. I used blending pens to color the balloon and snail in Crumb Cake and Pool Party, but didn't have any Pool Party cardstock, so I used Mint Macaron, which is very similar. I added Crystal Coat Glaze to the balloon and couldn't resist a snail trail using Stickles. I am pretty good about getting cards out in the mail on time, but it never hurts to have a belated birthday card on hand!

Your card makes me smile; you snail trail makes me laugh. Adorable card and while I don't know where you were heading, I'm glad your turned back. Great card and I love the glaze on the balloon.
