This for Sue's Tickle challenge ....to remember Princess Diana. I painted her favorite flowers..forget me nots...I used a white pen to bring out the shape of the flowers. I added some corners with polka dots as a tribute to her fashion sense..as I recall she often wore polka dots on her accessories and clothing. Fun challenge Sue....thanks!

Gorgeous. I love the soft look of the flowers -- so dainty and wistful. Brava on the painting. Love the way you incorporated her fashion sense with the dots. Beautiful card.

This is a frameable water color. So soft and precious. Your white pen accents and polka dots are perfectly suited to the style of Diana.

Beautiful job on your watercolored forget-me-nots. They have a lovely sheer look about them. I love the nod to her innate fashion sense and use of polka dots for a fashion statement.

I love the pretty watercoloured forget me nots, Polly, they have a soft, dreamy look! The polka dot corners a wonderful nod to her fashion sense and, yes, she did wear polka dots a lot - in fact, the original picture I had chosen, Diana was dressed in a pretty blue and white polka dot dress.
