This is my card for CC852. Chris is our hostess and she chose real red, white & black for her color trio. Dessert option this week and for all of July is Christmas in July.
I kept my card more on the CAS side. I used the wisdom tree die from CottageCutz to create my focal point image. I cut it 2x to give it a bit more depth. The background paper is from the Stampin'-Up collection "merry little Christmas". Used the wide rectangle frame die to frame the image.
That's my sample for this week. I hope you find some time to play along with our fun challenge.
I am also entering this in this week's CAS646 challenge.

Mary, I adore the Christmas tree die cut. It is so perfect, and stacking two of them adds so much dimension. Love the DS paper and the pierced frame, too! This is a really beautiful card!

This is such a striking design, Mary! I love your bold use of the contrasting frames contrasted with the delicate DSP design and fine lines of your tree. It's remarkable!
