My Christmas stamps are stored away so I used dies. I don't make many Christmas cards until the fall; I can't bear the thought of thinking about Christmas year round. I'd rather be sort of last minute. I am very impressed with those of you who work at it year round. I need pressure!
Joggles black cardstock works great for alcohol inks; it's very smooth and sturdy. I put a line of blending solution on a piece, added some snowcap mixative, moved it around with a brush, then added some silver mixative. Played around a bit more until I was happy. Added some sterling ep around the edge of that panel.
I used some glossy white with the two reinkers for the trees and then a piece of watercolor paper for the sentiment, doing basic ink smooshing for them. Added some Nuvo Drops in silver.

Jean, this Christmastime night scene is so beautiful! I love how you created your night sky, and love that the trees and silver baubles just glow in the moonlight! So artistic!

What a fabulous background for your sweet Christmas trees. I'm with you. I can't really get into Christmas in July. I think when my kids aren't cute anymore and I have to make my Christmas cards instead of sending pictures of my kids--then I will make Christmas cards year round and still be cranking them out last minute.
