The sea was my first thought - I have missed it so much this last year, not a trace of sand between my toes. So I was glad to snatch enough time to make a second card. I stamped the image on watercolour paper and coloured with Inktense pencils and distress inks. All the surf has Stickles on it, and I also edged the piece with Stickles.
For the base, I used Stencil Embossing. Inked the stencil with salvaged patina DOX. The sandwich that works for me in my Big Shot Plus is Adapter A, a plate, a sheet of felt, paper, the stencil, then the top plate. This too was edged with Stickles. I swiped some cheesecloth with Antique Linen to help it show a bit more, and added a starfish (shimmering with SN clear glitter pen), a shell cut from watercolour paper and sponged with distress inks after embossing, and a sentiment.

You always incorporate great techniques in your cards like this stencil embossing...no boring backgrounds for you! The beach scene is very pretty and meditative....hope you get to see the sea soon.

Those rolling white caps do indeed look cool and refreshing! I love the tiny peek of cheesecloth that got snagged on the starfish. Super texture on your sea shell, too.

My head went straight to the beach too, but I always do beach cards, so I went in a different direction. Your beach card is gorgeous! I love the gold Stickles edges. Nobody should ever have to go a whole year without the beach :0(
